Negative numbers of products or services

Indeed. It would be useful to be able to enter into the system a pre-paid deposit that you have to pay back because customers cancel their appointment in time, even as such, so that the bill comes to zero. Because it has arrived in your account and you also pay it back via your account.

Leen Eelen: I may be misunderstanding your comment, but what you are proposing is not accounting correct. An advance is:
❌ no turnover
❌ no sale
✅ a debt (passive) to the customer
In accounting terms, this is therefore part of:
- Advances received
- Amounts payable to customers
- possibly a separate advance account
👉 You should NEVER write that away via negative sales rules, because then:
- falsify your turnover
- correct your VAT where it was never due
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
You can only use negative numbers in a cash register to:
- to correct a wrong sale
- to register a return/refund
- to pay for an exchange correctly
👉 This remains within the sales stream:
- Turnover is corrected
- VAT is recalculated correctly
- Kassalogica remains closed

Sara Meert Thank you, Sara. But how do I process that in Optios? Once the quarter is finished, I can't delete it...

We would like to be able to remember a product or service again.
a product when it comes back. (minuses in the past, accounting is not an option when it comes to VAT reporting)
Treatments because I want to work with paid intakes. People pay in advance but receive a 50 euro discount on the intake when purchasing 4 products.
I can then give the discount on my products, but this is part of the intake treatment.
So I would love the opportunity to dismiss a product/service

Crediting health insurance on invoice

For services, I would like to create a service that allows me to deduct an amount instead of an additional amount. For example, I can remove the health insurance from my customers, which I then declare with the relevant health insurance. (nederland)
