The “Didn't visit the salon in the last x weeks” filter, when you activate it, will look at all customer appointments that were last made at exactly “... number of weeks” ago, as set.
In concrete terms, this means; if you set the filter to “one week” and activate the campaign on Friday, January 20, he will look at every customer who had an appointment on Thursday, January 12 (one week before).
The next day (Saturday), the filter looks at customers with appointments on Friday, January 13 (one week before).
Only customers with an appointment at the moment will receive an email. So, if a customer had an appointment EXACTLY x number of days ago, the mail will be sent. If he had a last appointment longer than the X number of days, the email will not be sent out. It must be scheduled exactly on the date.
The smaller the number of weeks, the better for the 'spam' filters. Better set to 1 week, so that a few of the same emails are sent every week instead of, for example, quarterly. If a lot of emails were suddenly sent out at the same time “every quarter”, this is bad for the spam filters.
