Clear notification about email sending online gift cards (recipient same person as buyer)
Sara Meert
Make communication clearer on the order page. A few suggestions:
* Possibly a tooltip or info text in the input field for extra context.
* Adding an explicit message to the “Recipient” field: “Note: the gift card will be sent directly to this email address.”
* Extra choice option for the customer:
- Send the receipt directly to the recipient.
- Send the receipt to me so that I can print it myself and give it as a gift.

In the “E-mail recipient” field, make it clear that customers can also enter their own email address if they want to give the receipt in person later. For example, with a short message: “Do you want to receive the receipt yourself and pass it on later? Then enter your own email address.” This avoids customer confusion.

Make the gift card recipient clearer

Currently, it is not always clear to customers that the email address in “Gift Card Recipient” is intended to send the gift card directly to the recipient. As a result, some customers accidentally enter the recipient's email address, even though they actually want to receive the receipt themselves.
It would be useful if a clear warning appears, for example:
“Please note: the email address you enter here will receive the gift card. Do you want to receive the voucher yourself first? Then enter your own email address.”
This makes it clearer for customers when to enter the recipient's email address or their own address, and avoids confusion.
