Date when the gift voucher was sent online
Sara Meert
The validity period of a gift voucher legally begins at the time of purchase, not on the date the voucher is sent or the date the email is opened. If the voucher is sent later to the recipient, the recipient effectively loses validity time. This can lead to confusion or complaints, both from the salon side and from end customers.
That is why it makes more sense for the buyer to first receive the gift voucher and then forward it personally at the desired time (by email or printed). This way, you can be sure that the recipient has enough time to use it, while maintaining the surprise effect.
