Separate calendar settings for fixed and flexible shifts
Chloé Lombraña Exposito
The possibility to use two separate main settings within an online agenda: one for fixed, consecutive appointments (such as beauty treatments) and one for shorter (such as tanning beds), flexibly scheduled services, so that both do not interfere with each other in time.
Concretely:
• Fixed services, such as beauty treatments, must be able to connect to each other in the agenda, with a fixed duration and without unwanted interruptions.
• Flexible services, such as tanning beds, are shorter (for example every 10 or 15 minutes) and should be scheduled.
• It is important that these two main components function independently, so that flexible appointments do not block or interfere with subsequent beauty treatments in time, and vice versa.
In our case, it concerns beauty and tanning beds, but this principle is widely applicable to companies that offer both fixed and flexible appointments.
